When Jupiter Studio fits

A launch that is happy with its presets. Meme fills in everything; Custom covers the market caps, a 1% or 2% fee, the anti-sniper switch and vesting on set terms.

When T-minus fits

A launch that needs something Studio doesn't offer: another curve shape, a fee outside 1 to 2%, fees split between wallets, a transfer tax, liquidity you choose to lock or vest, a first buy in the launch transaction, or a pool for a token that already exists.

What they share

Both run on Meteora's own programs, both graduate to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool, and with both your wallet signs the launch. Meteora keeps 20% of every trading fee on either.
